Production Manager (Confections) (Food Services)

JOB SUMMARY
Choice Labs, a division of Glorious Cannabis Company is a rapidly growing medical and recreational cannabis processing center specializing in top-quality cannabis extracts with a solid focus on manufacturing a broad range of high-quality products within our brand and across multiple brand lines. Because of this growth, we are searching for new talent to be part of our hard-working and highly motivated team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Managing staff with company values as foremost priority.
· Ensure all employees and operations adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures and meet all regulatory compliance requirements.
· Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
· Proactively research, identify and present innovative ideas to improve department operations and products.
· Regularly communicating problems or issues impacting production to Director of Manufacturing.
· Create and implement Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
· Manage and track all labor hours and other KPIs.
· Track and order all materials (cannabis & non-cannabis) required for the department.
· Set production goals for all work cells.
· Fill out and keep updated all required logs, documents, spreadsheets, etc.
· All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must Be 21 or older
Direct team leadership experience (2-5 years)

2-5 years' relevant experience in manufacturing or production.

Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, high level of organization skills

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment

Able to work independently and with others.

Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing

· Must comply with all legal regulations for working in the cannabis industry

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENT
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; use close, color and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
