Assoc Director, Helium Supply (Finance)



Global Helium is seeking a Assoicate Director, Helium Supply to join our team. This position is responsible for the management of helium supply and source contracts globally as well as for the development and commercialization helium sources in the globally. This requires close collaboration and support of sales, operations, logistics, and Linde Engineering. This position can be based in Shanghai, China, or The Woodlands, Texas, USA. Please note that international assignment support is not offered. RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage global helium sources, including development of forecasts, supply and price negotiations, in addition to optimization of sourcing balance and production - Work closely with current helium sources on growth initiatives and optimization projects. - Develop a deep commercial and technical understanding of helium exploration, production, and processing while also establishing a strong network and reputation with oil and gas firms developing hydrocarbons and/or helium resources in the globally. - Work closely with helium operations and logistics to ensure the effective integration of sources into the operations and the supply chain. - Manage and negotiate third party tolling agreements that are aligned with the broader helium supply strategy. - Supports Global Helium Sourcing Director in managing the entire helium supply portfolio and developing strategies. - Negotiate new and existing helium sourcing contracts and/or development agreements - Support sales contract negotiations and execution for regional product managers. - Optimize helium supply to determine ideal approach to satisfy SvD requirements while minimizing cost and take or pay risk. - Support logistics and asset management to ensure proper alignment of source production with distribution assets. - Support development of supply vs. demand data, delivery planning and supply execution - Provide guidance to Global Helium's leadership team through the generation, development, and analysis of supply reports QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain. - Minimum 5 years of experience in in a combination of product management, business development, and/or contract management. - Experience with negotiation sale and purchase agreements is a plus. - Attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize. - Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and presentation skills - Traveling, Moderate, 30 % Including International - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
