DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Collaborate with UI Artists, Designers, and Engineers to design and implement UI features (menus, HUDs, etc.) using visual scripting.
- Participate in the development of prototypes, experiments, and long-term, scalable UI solutions.
- Integrate and maintain UI assets within the game engine while ensuring proper functionality, balancing aesthetics with technical constraints.
- Conduct regular profiling and optimization of UI assets to ensure technical consistency and quality.
- Anticipate technical challenges and proactively resolve issues to avoid project impact.
- Communicate development status and technical challenges clearly with the UI Lead and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide feedback and creative input during the enhancement of the UI editor.
- Test and debug UI content for compatibility with the overall game, preventing conflicts with other systems.
- Contribute to best practices, workflows, and pipelines to improve team efficiency and UI quality.
- Mentor team members, supporting their skill development and knowledge sharing.
