Allegiance Operations Senior Advisor - Cigna Healthcare - Remote (Finance)



The Senior Advisor of Allegiance Operations is a member of the U.S. Employer Segment Operations team. This person is responsible for managing and enabling projects in support of strategic initiatives for the Allegiance/TPA strategy.

This role will report to the Allegiance COO and will support the Allegiance President, focusing on project management of critical program work streams and chief of staff functions, including:

  • Act as strategic partner to Allegiance and Cigna, bridging the leadership team and the rest of the organization, ensuring effective communication and organizational alignment
  • Oversee projects, facilitate decision-making, and manage communications through execution
  • Support the Allegiance leadership to drive critical initiatives, monitor progress, and meet deliverables
  • Ongoing support and development of Portfolio investment requests and execution

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders and matrix partners to analyze project needs and functional requirements
  • Supporting leadership meetings and the creation of supporting materials (presentation materials, agenda, etc.)
  • Manage schedules, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies related to project deliverables, ensuring the timing and quality delivered for each product is within scope of need
  • Ensures creation of management processes to align expectations, measurements and ensure performance and accountability for results
  • Deliver a repeatable process and discipline for delivering ongoing enablement support to the assigned businesses through project and activity planning, project tool utilization, consistent and standardized progress reporting and status updates, etc.
  • Develop and align with cross-functional stakeholders on strategic priorities and deliverables
  • Operationalize PMO best practices in a maturing organization by driving project delivery standards, governance and emphasizing sustainability of project outcomes and process adoption
  • Overall management and coordination of regularly scheduled organizational update meetings at the business level and upwards to the broader team
  • Supports an environment that leverages ideas, best practices and talent and leverage corporate-wide resources to benefit business initiatives

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence results and outcomes across a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work iteratively with a constantly changing business environment and areas of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively collaborate and prioritize to meet business needs and timelines.
  • Strong writing, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to absorb and filter through a lot of diverse information and present the key issue, trend or decision required.
  • Creative thinker, organizational and process improvement skills
  • Strong relationship skills - the ability to build trusted, productive partnerships between business leaders and internal/external partners is a must.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills required
  • Demonstrates determination when facing challenges

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,600 - 182,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
