Position Overview

The Data Engineer is a key position within the Data Management – MDM team, responsible for the design, development, test, and implementation of best-in-class Data Processing/Data Integration solutions for the organization, including Data Loading, Data Delivery, Data Availability, Performance and Security.  This role will be engaged in all phases of the Data Enablement lifecycle and follows all the best practices that were put in place. Successful candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating sound technical and business knowledge.

What You'll Do

  • Design, development and continuous improvement of complex data systems

  • Build processes supporting data transformations, MDM Match and Merge Process, Trust, and Survivorship Rules, User Exits, ActiveVOS Workflow, Composite Services, BES API's, etc.

  • Plans and executes unit test to ensure the developed code is free of functional defects

  • Design systems that reliably and efficiently provide interactive query performance on large amounts of multi-modal data

  • Ensure data governance policies are followed by implementing and validating data lineage, quality checks, classification etc.

  • Support/enhance/create ETL processes to ensure business continuity, ensuring all related data pipelines meets best-in-class standards offering high performance

  • Support and maintain existing data solutions within Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) for operational and analytical applications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience or Master's degree with 1+ years' experience in computer science, data science, engineering, math, or other quantitative field

  • Experience working with MDM Match and Merge Process, Trust, and Survivorship Rules, User Exits, ActiveVOS Workflow, Composite Services, BES API's, etc.

  • Experience working with traditional and distributed data processing systems

  • Experience working with cloud and on-prem data solutions

  • Good understanding of data warehousing, Middleware, MDM, and data governance concepts

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
