Job Description:
As a Diesel Shop Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients seeking diesel engine services. Your role will be crucial in maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations within our service department. Responsibilities include:
Assigning work to qualified techniciansDispatches and assigns work with instructions to techniciansCreates written documentation regarding customer concernsInvoices completed repair orders prior to releasing the vehicleCan effectively utilize businesses 'system to look up parts and invoice partsObtain authorization and ensure documents are signed prior to releasing the trucks to customersFollow up with the parts department to ensure that all needed parts are ordered and confirm the estimated delivery dateBuild positive and enduring relationships with customers for repeat business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 5 years' experience truck service and repair workMinimum 5 years' experience ofadministrative and clerical workAbility to ensure process complianceExcellent time management and goal-setting skillsPositive and friendly attitudeConsiderate and emotionally intelligent
Compensation:
Up to 2 weeks' vacation the first yearand 3 weeks starting in your 4th calendar year.$25 - $30 hourlySeven paid holidaysVariable compensation opportunities

Qualification Profile
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
High school diploma No major requiredValid Driver's License (CDL Preferred)4 years or more of prior relevant experience in a commercial vehicle repair facility
