What You'll Get to Do
The Lead Loader is focused on coordinating the safe and accurate loading of glass and aluminum products for delivery and reports to the Shipping Supervisor.
This role is perfect for the individual who approaches their work in a professional manner and who loves to lead a dynamic team. A vital member of the Shipping and Logistics Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Lead a small team to load various glass and aluminum products onto trucks for customer delivery
- Use work orders to locate and verify shipments throughout the warehouse
- Inspect products for visual defects and ensure proper handling
- Accurately complete shipping manifests and verify truck assignments
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
What We Are Looking For
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a lead role
- Basic computer skills for data entry and manifest completion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to match work orders to products
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, with off days typically on Fridays and Sundays
- Commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
