WHERE YOU WILL WORK 

Hybrid role, Monday and Friday remote work from home, and Tuesday through Thursday onsite at our Lake Nona headquarters.  

WHO YOU ARE 

The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for providing Quality and Continuous Improvement leadership to optimize supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost.  Works closely with Procurement team to identify, develop and optimize quality performance of a global supply base. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintains, Improves, Documents and Audits a systematic approach to quality assurance for a global supply base.
  • Maintains and improves a system of supplier qualification, product and process qualification, and auditing, that optimizes the supply base and the costs of managing it.
  • Provides leadership to the Asian Quality Team.
  • Develops, Measures and acts on key performance metrics to improve supplier performance and products.
  • Develops and implements product and process quality systems for new and existing products to assure customer expectations are met.
  • Works closely with Product Management/Product Engineering on new product development to ensure appropriate quality expectations and standards
  • Participates cross-functionally in a Regulatory Compliance Working Group
  • Respond to customer and regulatory compliance inquiries
  • Work to integrate regulatory compliance into product development and supplier engagement.
  • Work with Regulatory Compliance working group to implement updated policies, controls and training
  • In coordination with Procurement, facilitates and participates in root cause corrective actions on products, manufacturing processes, and business processes with suppliers.
  • Works with Procurement to assess and determine opportunities to drive the business improvement through quality, failure avoidance and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS  

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years experience in Quality
  • CQE and/or CQM desired
  • Travel requirements: Occasional travel including international
  • Strong PC skills including the Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Excel and Word
  • Experience with Computerized Quality Management Systems
  • Broad inspection tool experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience

  • This position is located both a manufacturing and office environment involving extensive travel. At times the associate may be required to stand for long periods of time. At other times the associate is required to sit for long periods of time.

  • The associate will be routinely exposed to a manufacturing environment and required to wear personal protective equipment.
