The purpose of this position is to perform produce tanking procedures and maintain grounds, of all produce at the Hurlock facility as mandated by company SOPs. The position also must ensure that GMPs are being followed and that all employees on the tanking platform are working safely.

Primary Job Functions:

• Ensure the produce quality being dumped or being dipped from fermentation tanks meets company standards. 
• Ensure tanking procedures are as follows.
• Ensure tanks are clean and sanitary before filling.
• Make brine as needed.
• Undertake heading and opening of tanks when needed. 
• Dip tanks as requested.
• Assist in the unloading of produce from delivery trucks.
• Report repairs needed of equipment, tanks, and anything needed in all areas of work to supervision.
• Ensure tanking batch sheets are filled out completely and accurately before turning them in.
• Assist crew in the production of pepper batches. 
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment.
• Assist with plant and facility housekeeping responsibilities. 
• Assist co-workers whenever necessary.
• Maintain work areas safely and cleanly.
• Have work areas properly secured at the end of the shift.
• Work safely and immediately report all unsafe working conditions or unsafe acts to the supervisor.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Responsible for ensuring food safety/quality policies are followed, to report all food safety/quality problems out of their realm of responsibility to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
• Responsible for making sure a good safe wholesome product is produced safely. All other duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Forklift experience

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:

$15.00 - $25.00

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
