About this opportunity:

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Cosentini Associates, you will have the opportunity to work as an engineer on exciting and challenging projects. You will be working with some of the top engineers in the field, gaining expertise and building your reputation and career.

Your role:

• Become familiar with designing building systems on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects.

• Assist with incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software

• Assist in performing load calculations and in the production of electrical building system drawings

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated B.S. candidate in Mechanical Engineering, with an interest in building systems design.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
