Position Overview

The position will work closely with the PMI Region - HR Benefits and Payroll team to facilitate the HR processes related to employee records and employment status. This position involves maintaining the integrity and reliability of our HR data while requiring a strong understanding of HR processes and systems, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This position also requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will have experience with HRIS software, strong project management skills, proficient analytics and report creations utilizing Excel, Tableau and other various computer systems. This position must have the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

The person will be responsible for:

  • Actively monitor and update all records pertaining to employees within the HRIS systems (Viewpoint, Tableau, Tenstreet).
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate onboarding documentation for new hires as well as promotions/job changes/intra-company transfers.
  • Creates and maintains complex data analysis reports utilizing Excel.
  • Proficient computer analytical skills with the ability to convert data from various sources into accurate reporting, graphs, pivot tables, etc.
  • Perform frequent audits to maintain and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and generate customized reports and queries based on business needs.
  • Analyze employee data to identify trends and provide insight and recommendations to the HR leadership team.
  • Strong understanding of Benefits, compensation, FMLA and LOA to provide coverage to HR team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of HR transactions.
  • Collaborate and clearly communicate with employees, managers, and HR Team.
  • Train new members of the HR team on HRIS system and processes and perform refresher trainings as needed.
  • Actively manage the medical and personnel files for employees at the PMI Region.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology or related field.
  • 2-5 years HRIS/HR system support experience required.

Work Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in HRIS software (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP, ViewPoint, etc.) is a plus
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to train and support end-users.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Report to the office as needed.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.
