Financial Analysis Senior Advisor - Financial Consolidations - Hybrid (Finance)



POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analysis Senior Advisor's primary function is to support Evernorth FP&A's forecast/budget consolidations and variance analysis. The role is responsible for preparing monthly financial reports and presentations to cross-functional Finance, Accounting and business leaders. In addition, this position collaborates with Corporate FP&A and Cigna Healthcare Finance leaders to measure enterprise scorecard metrics and satisfy requests for information that drive key business decision making. This position requires the individual to be a self-starter with minimal direction from senior leaders, independently review and generate complex financial forecasting, ad-hoc analysis, and other related activities as assigned by FP&A leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, presentations and variance analysis relating to Evernorth
  • Provide financial documents and reports to Corporate FP&A for enterprise consolidation purposes, and CFO/CEO financial reports of actuals, budget and forecast
  • Lead the gathering and analysis of data relating to Evernorth business and Enterprise scorecard metrics
  • Collaborate with Evernorth Accounting to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting of actuals and forecasts, and segment reporting
  • Drive efficiencies through establishing internal controls and identifying automation opportunities around our financial reporting documents
  • Liaise between business leaders and finance to consolidate and report financial data, including monitoring of risks and opportunities
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and participate in Finance-related projects/initiatives as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years' relevant work experience in financial analysis
  • Proficient in Hyperion Essbase, HFM and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Proven modeling, trending and forecasting skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and gather input
  • Ability to independently drive initiative to finish line and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 106,800 - 178,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
