Job Description:

Senior Director, Enterprise Applications Operations

3M Health Care is now Solventum

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on senior leader to help bring structure, clarity, and coordination across our global Enterprise Applications function. This Senior Director will work directly with the SVP of Enterprise Technology, helping to drive alignment across domains such as HR, Legal, Commercial, R&D, Quality, Data/AI, Marketing, and Automation - with a focus on workforce planning, vendor strategy, contract alignment, and scaling our GCC presence in Bangalore.

This is not a program management role. We're looking for someone with deep experience across enterprise technology operations - someone who understands the work, knows where friction shows up, and can bring together people, process, and vendor models to help us scale smartly and sustainably.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Senior Director, Enterprise Applications Operations, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead workforce planning across enterprise apps, defining the right mix of internal, vendor, and GCC-based talent
  • Shape and operationalize our global vendor model, including Tier 2 partners for dev, support, and app operations
  • Partner with Procurement to streamline and align contracts across technology domains
  • Drive the buildout of our Bangalore GCC, including org structure, onboarding, role clarity, and long-term scaling
  • Work closely with pillar leads to design and support consistent, strategic operating models across domains
  • Collaborate with PMO and Finance to ensure global IT plans reflect actual resourcing, vendor spend, and roadmap execution
  • Deliver clear, justified insights to support investment decisions and executive reporting
  • Help remove cross-functional friction and ensure we are operating with purpose and discipline across the function
  • Enable the SVP to focus on strategic transformation, by owning execution of key operational priorities

Your Skills and Expertise

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Experience building or scaling a GCC or global delivery team.
  • Proven ability to lead workforce planning, vendor engagement strategy, and contract structuring.
  • Comfortable navigating complexity, ambiguity, and change - with a strong sense of ownership and execution discipline

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Hands-on experience in at least two enterprise domains (e.g., HRIS, LegalTech, Quality, R&D, Commercial platforms)
  • Ability to influence across functions and work fluidly with pillar leads, vendors, PMO, Finance, and Procurement
