Disaster Task Force Administrator (Finance)

Your Role:

We are currently hiring a Disaster Task Force Administrator to support our disaster recovery program for Kendall County, Texas. In this role, you will work onsite, collaborating with the Program Manager, subject matter experts, and other team members to provide critical administrative support, ensuring residents receive the assistance they need to recover from recent disasters.

Data Collection and Documentation

  • Gather and organize essential project documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support public interactions by collecting required data and verifying its accuracy.
  • Digitize documentation, maintaining a systematic and easily accessible database.

Quality Control and Issue Resolution
  • Investigate documentation errors, coordinating with relevant teams to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all data meets accuracy standards, checking for errors and verifying information against program requirements.

Project Coordination and Support
  • Work closely with project leads to support daily administrative functions.
  • Monitor task progress, deadlines, and reporting to ensure adherence to project timelines and objectives.

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.

Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of related work experience; background in data entry, finance, or data analysis preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite programs; strong computer literacy is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Investigative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards in quality and accuracy.

This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end. It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
