This position, located at our Clabber Girl, Terre Haute, IN plant, is responsible for the overall planning and coordination of replenishment to DSC warehouses. This position will also be backup to the production planner.

Essential Duties:

• Reviews finished good demand reports and coordinates replenishment daily through load build and adjustments.
• Identify and develop inventory levels by storage location (safety stock, min/max).
• Analyzes forecast for finished goods safety stock levels and submits the changes biannually.
• Updates daily/weekly short shipment reports, including cuts.
• Communicate and coordinate finished good planning with production planner.
• DC support, push or cut decisions on inventory shorts.
• Schedule of outbound and inbound trucks in the transportation calendars for shipping and receiving.
• Perform and maintain production planner duties in their absence.
• Support Supply Planner with Administration activities.
• Other duties assigned by Deployment & Planning Supervisor.
• Customer Collaboration support, ship dates and ability to produce.

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, inventory control experience preferred
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely and consistently.​
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Word/Excel)
• Software proficiency preferred (JDE, Atomic, PKMS)

• Ability to run reports, analyze details and determine proper FG inventory requirements based on available date.

Physical Demand Characteristics:

• Lifts 10 lbs. or less infrequently.  Sits, bends, stands, walks, reaches over head and stoops frequently.  May push/pull.
