Waterjet Machinist (Manufacturing)

Broadwind Industrial Solutions is searching for a Waterjet Machinist to join our team in Sanford, NC. The Machinist will program and operate the Flow Mach 200 Waterjet machine along with other machining responsibilities. This position will review drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Programming and operating the Flow Mach 200 Waterjet machine.
Start and stop the machine, load/feed the machine, and monitor machine operations.
Set-up, program, adjust and operate machine to run recurring projects according to customer prints.
Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product and the machine
Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.
Keep a clean and orderly work area. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
Safely operate overhead crane, and forklift equipment.
Complete other machine shop responsibilities based on business needs.
All other duties as assigned.
