Baler Operator - 3rd Shift (Finance)
The Baler Operator t ends the machine t hat compresses and binds paper and corrugated scrap to facilitate handling .
Essential Functions :
Cart or carry materials to shredder machine
Place materials in shre dder and then send shredded scrap to the compression chamber of the baling machine
Move lever or electric switch, cau sing ram to compress material
Thread tie bands into baler, which twists or clamps e nds of bands to tighten bands
Weigh bales and record weight
Remove bale s from machine and truck bale to storage place
Perform other duties as assigned by management /supervisors

Education/Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industrial Truck Operator certificate
Work Experience
Previous baler operator experience

Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
