We are seeking a highly curious and analytical CPQ (Configure Price Quote) Product Model Developer with a systems-thinking mindset to join our IT team and play a vital role in building accurate product model configurators.
Job Summary
The CPQ Product Model Developer will assist in the creation, maintenance, and support of product model configurators within the Experlogix CPQ software platform. This individual must be comfortable breaking down complex technical issues into manageable steps and supporting cross-functional teams throughout various projects. What Youll Do:
Perform initial design and build of Beltservice product model configurators in the Experlogix CPQ software, enabling sales department and customers to accurately configure and price custom fabricated conveyor belting. Work directly with manufacturing personnel and product managers to incorporate requirements into CPQ software to provide all available fabrication options based on predefined or developed rules. Develop mathematical models to accurately estimate labor and material requirements per each unique configuration. Work directly with sales and product managers to establish and incorporate pricing methodologies into the CPQ software. Provide on-going, front-line maintenance support of the Experlogix CPQ software. Expand product configurations in the Experlogix CPQ software as new product and fabrication capabilities are added by Beltservice.
What Were Looking For:
An aptitude for understanding manufacturing processes and sequencing. Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of advanced Excel functions: Excel formula syntax, advanced lookup functions, concatenation formulas and techniques, IF...Then logic formulas, ability to make calculation spreadsheet using a combination of functions (e.g. financial calculator), etc. Strong math & problem solving skills An appreciation for effective UI layout design and an understanding of human interaction with software Understanding of basic business processes No formal programming language required; however, knowledge of common SQL query methods, VB .Net Framework, and various C# methods are a strong plus. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain Management ERP system is a plus.
