Leasing Associate (Project Management)

BET Investments, Inc. develops, leases, and manages apartment communities, shopping centers, office campuses and mixed-use projects throughout the United States. We are currently in search of a part-time Leasing Associate to work up to 20 hours a week for our luxury apartments, West End Flats, in Media, PA.
The ideal candidate for this position would have leasing experience in the multi-family industry, but a background working in sales/customer service will be given consideration. A positive upbeat demeanor is a must!

Handles telephone and on-site traffic, provides information about apartments and the community to prospective residents, schedules visits to the community and shows made-ready apartments.
Determines the needs of prospective residents and assists with screening and securing new leases and renewals.
Maintains an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expiration, square footage, etc.
Inspects vacant apartments on a regular basis to ensure that they are ready to show to prospective residents.
Assists with implementing resident retention and renewal programs.
May assist in the planning and attending various community sponsored resident functions and activities.
Communicates with new and current residents to effectively establish and maintain positive resident relations.
Accurately and efficiently prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork (applications, lease agreements/addenda and move-in packets).
Completes service requests and communicates requests to the maintenance staff on a timely basis.
