JOB DESCRIPTION

DATAMARK Technologies is a leader in interoperable solutions for public safety location services, combining best-in-class geospatial solutions with next-generation core services (NGCS) to redefine 9-1-1 operations. Our mission is to enhance emergency response through innovative, spatially accurate, and integrated GIS data management and indoor mapping solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability and precision for public safety agencies.

DATAMARK Technologies is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead the strategic development, management, and delivery of our public safety geospatial product portfolio. Reporting to the CTO, this role is responsible for shaping product vision, driving execution, and developing a high-performing team. You will bring a holistic view of product-understanding how vision, strategy, functionality, business rules, and logic come together to deliver value.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on building empowered teams, fostering innovation, and ensuring consistent, outcome-driven product development.

Responsibilities:

• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and client-focused solutions.
• Product Vision and Strategy: Define and execute the product roadmap for DATAMARK's solutions, ensuring alignment with industry needs and standards. Maintain a holistic view of product, ensuring coherence across functionality, business objectives, and customer needs.
• Execution: Drive consistent, rapid, and effective execution of the product strategy. Champion modern product discovery, customer discovery, and development processes to deliver impactful solutions. Review and guide the work of product teams, resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment.
• Product Culture: Promote a culture of continuous innovation, rapid testing, and learning. Encourage teams to take calculated risks, learn from mistakes, and iterate quickly to mitigate risks and deliver value. Inspire and motivate product teams to achieve excellence.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Foster strong collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with the product vision.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven success leading cross-functional product teams, including close collaboration with engineering and technical teams that have delivered impactful, customer-centric solutions.
• Deep understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop product owners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience aligning product strategy with business and technical goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with public safety answering points (PSAPs) or emergency communication centers.
• Certifications: ENP, GISP are a plus
• Ability to succeed and embody a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
• Experience using agile frameworks to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Location: Remote

COMPENSATION

The range for this role is $136,000- $150,000 this will be dependent on the skills of the incoming candidate.
