Work Schedule :
85% FTE, day/evening shift. Operational hours of the Cath Lab/EP lab are 6:00am to 7:00pm. On-call responsibilities for off hours, weekends and holidays with a 30-minute response time. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered. Hours may vary depending on department need. You will work primarily at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
Pay :
- Additional components of compensation may include:
- Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening and $5/hour night as applicable for hours worked.
- Weekend Differential: $4.25/hour as applicable for hours worked.
- Overtime
- On-call pay

We are seeking a Registered Nurse:
- Be an integral member of a talented multidisciplinary team working together to deliver quality care to primarily young adult to geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic cardiac catheterization in our cath lab at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.
- Practice in an environment that focuses on patient and family centered care.
- Be highly engaged in acquiring new skills and integrating evidence-based nursing practices into the unit culture.
- Encouraged to participate in shared governance, with a unit-based council, to help support and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.
- Preferred candidates will have inpatient ICU level nursing experience or prior cath lab nursing experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- Cardiovascular Laboratory: Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit Required
- Relevant RN Experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
- Current CPR/BLS Certification Required
- ACLS within 6 months Required
- PALS within 6 months Required
- Relevant Certification Preferred
