Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Employee Benefit Producer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing ongoing relationships with employers by providing comprehensive group benefits solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong consultative sales skills and a deep understanding of employee benefits products.

Daily Responsibilities

Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities in the employee benefits market

Build and manage a pipeline of employer clients across industries and company sizes

Design and present customized benefits packages including group health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and wellness programs

Serve as a trusted advisor to HR professionals and business owners, helping them navigate benefit offerings and compliance

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA), and carrier offerings

Achieve and exceed sales and retention targets through strategic planning and execution

Evaluate client needs and develop comprehensive employee benefits strategies

Maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality with client information and agency data


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Licensing: Active Life and Health required

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supplementary benefits sales or a related role.

Proven track record of building strong client relationships and achieving sales targets

Knowledge of group health insurance markets, funding arrangements, and regulatory compliance


Skills & Competencies:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proven ability to build rapport and close sales in a competitive environment

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

High level of organization and attention to detail

Proficiency in CRM and agency management systems
