Position Overview:
The Production Team Member role entails assisting in supporting a production line, packaging, and/or ingredient blending equipment. The Production Team Member is responsible for assisting the Machine Operator and/or Assistant Machine Operator in ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high quality product and finish product packaging, inspecting equipment and possibly performing preventative maintenance; completing paperwork and data entry; cross-training on other machine operation duties; and assisting in providing training or direction to other production line employees. The Production Team Member may also act as an Assistant Machine Operator from time to time.
Responsibilities:
· Keep production area clean and orderly
· Packaging product
· Palletizing finished goods
· Visually inspect product and packaging
· Move material and supplies to and from production area
· Ensure accurate counts
· Add materials to manufacturing equipment
· Sorting and performing rework
· Responsible for following food safety/quality/regulatory policies and procedures, executing responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and reporting food safety/quality/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager


Qualifications:
· Food processing or packaging experience preferred
· Understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and food quality standards is strongly preferred
· Self-directed and personally motivated
· Attention to detail
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment while focusing on meeting or exceeding customer expectations
· Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50lbs
· Able stand for up to 12 hours per shift
· Able to communicate and work well with others
· Able to contribute to a positive work environment by being a team player
· Good attendance and performance track record
· High School diploma or GED preferred. Post-secondary education is a plus
· Strong general mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills
· Able to effectively time manage and prioritize job functions
· Knowledge of food safety and food quality standards is strongly preferred
· Basic computer skills

Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This position is located at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility and works a 2-2-3 schedule 5:45am - 6:00pm.

Physical and Mental Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
· Potential for exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, wet environments, and other potential hazards exists.
