Assembly Mechanic - Level 1 (FAA) - Day Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) (Finance)



As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the assembly and maintenance of our products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Your contributions will help drive operational excellence and support our commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our customers.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Kingsman, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our assembly operations, contributing to the overall success of our repair and overhaul initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble and test components and systems according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve assembly issues and improve processes.

FAA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will assemble and test complex mechanical systems, ensuring top quality and reliability.   • 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
  • Strong understanding of assembly processes and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and quality assurance practices in a manufacturing environment.
