Grow Here .This position is funded by the Florida Flood Hub via its allocation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The position will focus on dynamic downscaling of simulations generated by global climate models and analysis of results from integrated simulations for historical conditions and two scenarios incorporating atmospheric warming. Thus, the postdoctoral scholar must be familiar with high-resolution climate models and dynamic downscaling, and analysis of extreme events. In addition, knowledge of approaches to analyze extreme events and experience with modeling coastal hazards would be extremely beneficial.
