Nurse Practitioner (FT) (Healthcare)

Responsibilities:
Provide passionate, evidence based primary care in outpatient practice setting including acute illness/injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribe and administer medication, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health. Request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.Collaborate with the entire care team to ensure quality individual care and population health. Follow all state regulations pertaining to formation and maintenance of a collaborative care agreement.Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Position Requirements:
Requires a masters degree in area of specialty, certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and Missouri authority for advance practice.DATA 2000 Waiver (May be obtained after hire)Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.One year of previous experience highly preferred.Must have proven skills and knowledge base necessary for independent clinical decision making.Must have ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.Ability to maintain quality control standards.Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
