Janitor - Graveyard (Maintenance)

This is a 3rd Shift position from 11:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M., Sunday through Thursday night, may be required to work overtime and weekends as needed, and come in early or stay late depending on production demands. Hours worked over 40 hours per week are paid at time and a half. Saturdays are paid at time a half and Sundays are paid at double time.
We are currently recruiting for a Facility Custodian (3rd Shift) to work in our fast-paced facility and will be responsible for various tasks and responsibilities that will include following:
Primary Duties
- Ability to stand/walk for long period of time
- Ability to work in hot environment
- Ability to physically bend, twist and kneel in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-pace work environment
- Able to change direction frequently
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
- Sweeps offices, locker room and lunchroom daily and disposes of waste
- Mops offices, locker room and lunchroom daily
- Waxes floors in office and lunchroom as needed
- Daily sweeps aisles in factory, empty waste barrels, removes ad disposes of scrap, cardboard, steel bands, broken containers, and covers
- Checks and replenishes soap dispensers and toweling.
- Cuts, trims, and waters lawns and shrubbery, and maintains grounds as needed
- May remove snow from walkways, driveways and yard as needed in winter
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math, reading and writing skills
- Minimum of 6 months to a year of working experience in a manufacturing environment or similar industry
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to wear required PPE
- Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident card holder. Sponsorship is not available for this position

- A High School diploma or equivalent
Compensation
- Our Facility Custodians (3rd Shift) are compensated with an hourly wage of $17.00/hour, plus shift differential of $0.75/hour
- Wage increase at 90 days to $19.01
