The salary range for this position is $105,700 - $132,200 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Position Summary

The Manager of Wholesale Merchandise Planning-Fenty Beauty owns the end-to-end financial plan for the North America wholesale channel-translating top-line brand strategies into channel-level sales targets. You lead monthly SKU- and account-level forecast reviews, build monthly and annual budgets, and drive retailer in-stock performance. Success requires commercial acumen, data-driven storytelling, and cross-functional leadership across Sales, Supply Chain, Brand, Demand Planning, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Planning & Account Management
    • Build top-down and bottom-up retail and wholesale plans by account, category, and SKU.
    • Collaborate with Sales and Brand teams to translate market opportunities into SKU-level assortment plans.
    • Shape bottoms-up account plans and steer the channel's monthly OTB.
    • Monitor weekly sell-out / stock-outs and coordinate with account merchants on corrective actions.
  • Forecasting
    • Own monthly forecast reviews for channels, present sales forecast to leadership and recommend actions to chase demand or mitigate risk.
    • Work with Demand Planning on forecast consensus and escalate channel level exceptional demand.
    • Partner with Sales and Finance on promo, markdown, and RTV forecasts.
  • Cross-functional Alignment
    • Work with Supply Chain on new product launch PO tracking and risk escalations.
    • Partner with Sales and Finance on Channel tops-down monthly & annual sales budgets.
    • Partner with Sales and Brand on Channel strategies.
  • Analytics
    • Leverage advanced excel and enterprise planning tools (Anaplan) to elevate quality data insights.
    • Champion continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies & accuracy, data quality, and scenario modeling.
    • Foster a collaborative, innovative culture that shares best practices across merchandise planning.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of merchandise planning, wholesale planning experience.
  • Education: BA, BS in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or related quantitative field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot table, power query, advanced functions).
    • Experience with an enterprise planning platform, Anaplan experience a plus.
  • Core competencies:
    • Analytical problem-solving, scenario modeling, and data storytelling.
    • Negotiation and influencing skills with both internal partners and external retailers.
    • Ability to lead & thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
    • Clear written and verbal communication, strong organizational discipline, high attention to detail and a growth mindset oriented toward process innovation.
