Supply Chain Manager - Fabrication

This role is all about driving supply chain excellence-managing everything from supplier performance and inventory optimization to ensuring smooth material flow across the organization. You'll be at the heart of operations, balancing customer satisfaction with cost efficiency and leading strategic initiatives that keep the supply chain agile and responsive.

You'll be the key connector between suppliers, manufacturing, and logistics teams, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled on time and inventory is managed effectively. A big part of the job is leading your team and implementing lean practices to streamline warehouse operations and support new product introductions.

What will you do?

  • Manage the upstream supply chain to ensure both optimal customer service levels and optimal inventory performance.
  • Work with suppliers to improve the flexibility and the responsiveness of the upstream supply chain. Manage Supplier performance.
  • Optimize internal supply chain strategies to minimize logistic costs and align with internal Material delivery process principles.
  • Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and SIOP processes to ensure the fulfillment of customer orders in accordance with the Commercial Logistics Offer. Work with manufacturing to ensure that there are sufficient resources to fulfill customer demand.
  • Design and implement the upstream and downstream flows during the new product introduction process.
  • Anticipate stops and starts of ranges of products as well as the obsolete components.
  • Manage downstream flows for: customer satisfaction, inventory efficiency, transportation cost and adherence to the Customer Logistics Offer.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, execute cycle counting actions; ensure parts storage safely and properly.
  • Manage a team of Warehouse staff and operators to achieve company objectives.
  • Implement Lean Warehouse Architecture practices for all material storage in the facility.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in; Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or related discipline required
  • 3+ years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably an engineered-to-order (ETO) range of products.
  • Supervisor or leadership experience, directly managing a team
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Understanding of basic product cost structure
