Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to accommodate patients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking practices adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor food supplies and inventory, ordering ingredients as needed to maintain stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide support during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of meals to patients.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a kitchen setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with healthcare staff.
• Ability to adapt meal offerings based on various dietary needs and restrictions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
