• Ensure project budgets sold with adequate scope by coordinating with C&E to ensure quotes are accurate and concepts/scopes are reviewed and clear.
• Ensure project budgets are maintained by tracking and reviewing the schedule, re-sources, and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Tracks AS-Sold vs AS-DESIGNED vs AS-BUILT scope throughout the project lifecycle and documents any changes as risks/opportunities. Create documents for change orders during a project lifecycle.
• Assist the Mechanical Project Engineering Manager in the insurance of standards (product and process) are kept current and are followed by the team.
• Assist the Mechanical Project Engineering Manager in the execution of project engineering tiered accountability MOS on weekly cadence to ensure timely manage-ment of issues and escalations among the project execution team.
• Manage department engineers effectively, maintaining open communication.
• Define and track quality measures for engineering projects, drive issues, changes, and improvements as required to improve the department and project execution.
• Ensure effective communication to all disciplines and cross functional groups within the organization.
• Monitor and drive engineering standards and ensure alignment with product teams as well as cross-functional teams.
• Manage internal and external customer communications, expectations and conflicts.
• Support the customer through acceptance testing and escalates roadblocks and ensures issues are being resolved and technical risks are mitigated.
• Ensure project teams work in compliance with quality / safety procedures. Re-sponsible for adherence to HSE Policy and Guidelines.
