Management Trainee (Finance)
Job Duties:
- Receive guidance from experienced banking staff and managers and performs duties in a number of banking departments.
- Review the training outline with each department manager to assure optimum training opportunities.
- Set performance goals and objectives with higher management of the Bank.
- Meet with employees in each department and engage in assigned training or work projects.
- Gain knowledge of line and staff functions, operations, management position and company policies and practices that have an effect on each segment of the Bank.
- Learn the bank's computer systems in order to assist in the processing of customer transactions and to assist bank staff.
- As training is received, function in the various positions for a period of time using the skills learned.
- Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
- Complying with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
- Strong personal motivation and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Basic knowledge in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Candidates must be open to working on a variety of projects and tasks.
- Flexibility and ability to relocate within a limited area.
Education, Experience & Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or other directly related field.
