Job Summary:
The Production Processing Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the processing area to ensure efficient workflow, product quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on processing experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and on-time delivery for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the daily activities of production processing team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Monitor workflow and equipment functionality to identify and address issues in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Train and mentor processing operators and new hires on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
Collaborate with supervisors, quality assurance, engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams to support production and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques and process optimization projects.
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis when production issues arise.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required, experience leading teams in manufacturing, preferred.
3+ years of experience in a production or processing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
Strong understanding of production equipment (Lasers, Saw, Drill, Brake Presses) and processing methods.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency with production software and reporting tools is a plus.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment:
Exposure to temperature variations, loud noises, and wet/humid conditions typical of a manufacturing facility.
