Student Asst - FWS (Finance)



Innovative Education Studios (InEd Studios) at the University of South Florida is seeking a motivated and organized Work-Study Office Assistant to support our team. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks and occasional production assistance, offering valuable experience in a dynamic, innovative environment. The position is ideal for a USF student looking to gain hands-on experience in office administration and multimedia production while working up to 20 hours per week.

InEd Studios at USF creates engaging multimedia content to enhance learning in blended and online courses. From video and animation to podcasts and graphic design, the team collaborates with faculty and staff to produce high-quality, immersive educational media. With state-of-the-art facilities like a custom LED volume for virtual production, InEd Studios also partners on special projects, pushing the boundaries of educational and creative media.

  • Current enrollment as a student at the University of South Florida (required for work-study eligibility).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate class schedules.
  • Interest in multimedia production and educational innovation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform front desk duties, such as greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage scheduling, including booking rooms, coordinating meetings, and maintaining calendars for Innovative Education and the InEd Studios team.
  • Assist with multimedia productions as a production assistant, including handling equipment, supporting setup and breakdown, and providing general assistance during productions as assigned.
  • Enter data accurately and maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
  • Assist with planning and executing events, including coordinating logistics and providing on-site support.
  • Provide general administrative support, such as photocopying, scanning, and organizing office supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
