Project Manager Consultant, VP (Finance)



Who we are looking for
The Project Manager Consultant will provide project management and relationship management for various Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Compliance Infrastructure projects. The Project Consultant will liaise with the project sponsors, stakeholders, external vendors and other divisions within State Street to ensure the delivery of quality products within the expected timeframes and budgets.

What you will be responsible for
• Coordinating multiple projects with project managers, application managers, business managers, and Application Development and Maintenance team members;
• Managing virtual projects including team resources from multiple global locations;
• Developing and maintaining project schedules and resource plans and clearly defining dependencies;
• Coordinating plans with various stakeholders;
• Directing activities, assigning responsibilities, setting contributor performance expectations, and motivating team members toward achieving project objectives;
• Closely monitoring project resources, tasks, risks, and milestones, considering impact on project schedule, quality, and cost;
• Work with business and executive management to prioritize business needs.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in the Anti Money Laundering and Compliance regulation spaces and proactively plan mitigating actions.
• Manage, guide and train direct reports and perform performance reviews.
• Facilitating communication between internal and external resources both locally and offshore;
• Mentoring less experienced staff on roles and responsibilities of project management.
• Work closely with internal teams and external parties - including vendors, regulators and examiners - located globally to adhere to milestone timelines.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science / business administration or a related technical field plus 7 years of experience managing Regulatory initiatives and enterprise wide technology implementations.

Salary Range:
$130,000 - $212,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
