This position will begin Spring/Summer 2026.

Job Description Summary

This is a temporary skilled position involving the support of operations personnel in safely providing materials. It will consist primarily of conducting industrial health sampling at multiple locations in Montana.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Conduct Industrial Health Sampling to evaluate worker potential exposure to noise and irrespirable silica.
  • Support employees in safely providing the preferred source to customers.
  • Knowledgeable/Familiar with MSHA/OSHA standards.
  • Conduct on site safety inspections and incident investigations .
  • Provide detailed reports and assistance to operations supervisors.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires, ensuring new employees are equipped with necessary resources and training.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records.
  • Manage and administer the Tyfoom platform.
  • Conduct or participate in safety training, mock audits, and other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Ability to do complex math, and apply logical analysis to complex issues.
  • Must have working knowledge of /be proficient in use of computer software including: Microsoft Office Suite & Outlook.
  • Standard Driver's License and reliable vehicle are required.

Education/Experience

  • Preference given to completed courses in Industrial Hygiene sampling methods and exposure routes.
  • One to two years of college courses in related field.
  • One to two years previous related experience/training in the field is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 25 lbs. Physical agilities test may be required. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
