Summary of the role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic QA Automation Trainee to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in software quality assurance and automation testing. This role is perfect for those who are eager to learn and grow their career in a supportive and innovative environment.
In this role you'll:
Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools
Collaborate with the QA team to design and implement test plans and test cases
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects
Document and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and support testing efforts
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA automation
About the ideal candidate:
1) Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
2) Bachelor's /Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
3) Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, or C++
4) Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG (a plus but not required)
5) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
7) Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
