Marketing Specialist (Finance)



We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join our team based in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter with expertise in marketing, graphic design, and social media strategy. The position will suport the ongoing integration of Motivair , a newly acquired business of Schneider Electric , a global leader in energy management and automation.

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, XX days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic Design & Collateral Development

  • Design and update marketing materials (brochures, digital ads, presentations, event graphics).
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual assets.
  • Contribute to creative campaign concepts and visual direction.
2. Sales Enablement
  • Develop product sheets, case studies, and pitch decks.
  • Respond to ad-hoc marketing requests from Sales.
  • Collaborate regularly with Sales leadership to identify support needs.
3. Social Media Strategy
  • Lead LinkedIn content strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs to create engaging content.
  • Monitor KPIs and adjust strategy to optimize performance.
4. Email Marketing & CRM
  • Manage monthly email campaigns, including content, segmentation, and scheduling.
  • Work with vendors to improve deliverability and performance.
  • Analyze and refine campaigns based on key metrics.
5. Tradeshow & Event Logistics
  • Coordinate trade show materials, shipping, and inventory.
  • Manage vendor relationships and internal coordination.
  • Attend select events to oversee setup, staffing, and teardown.
6. On-Site Event Management
  • Act as the primary contact for event logistics and personnel.
  • Ensure booth staff are trained and equipped.
  • Collect and report on event leads and feedback.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Align messaging with Product Marketing.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors.
  • Support strategic initiatives including market research and campaign planning.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
  • Experience with social media strategy and paid advertising.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills (AP style preferred).
  • Trade show experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
Additional Details
  • Must be located within a 40 miles of Buffalo, NY.
  • No relocation assistance is available.
  • Immediate start preferred.
