Senior Customer Value Proposition Manager (Project Management)

Senior Customer Value Proposition Manager

Job Description

You're not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Because we're out to create Better Care for a Better World, and that takes a certain kind of person and teams who care about making a difference. Here, you'll bring your professional expertise, talent, and drive to building and managing our portfolio of iconic, ground-breaking brands. In this role, you'll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.

The Associate Director, Customer Marketing – Value Proposition is responsible for creating value-based relationships across all customers, including prioritized prospective key accounts (business development), prioritized choosers and end users (key accounts), industry membership buying entities (Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Co-Ops), important Service Providers, and prioritized Distributors. The role works closely with the Sr. Customer Marketing Managers and Distributor Marketing Managers to provide the necessary insights and strategic direction for creating segments, subsegment, key account and distributor strategies that deliver our products and bundles as need-based solutions for our diverse end users. This will require a close working relationship with important industry associations, internal KCP Teams such as KCNA Insights & Analytics (Customer Research & Insights), KCP Strategy, E-Comm, Category, and Sales as well as prioritized Distributors and End Users. Additionally, this role will provide “dotted line” consultation to Canada.

This role will enable the Customer Marketing Managers and Distributor Marketing Managers to gain a deep understanding of macro trends affecting our customers, as well industry, segments, subsegments, and end user opportunities, needs, problems, and challenges. Partnering with Customer Marketing and Distributor Marketing, this role aggregates information and acts as a critical conduit between data and insights and the Customer Marketing organization. It proactively sources, interprets and positions insights to create compelling stories and uniquely links our KCP products to each individual end user's needs.  This role will develop a deep understanding of all KCP products to effectively link them to end user's needs and problems, creating “solution” bundles rather than “product” bundles.  Additionally, this role will also act as a “voice of the customer” with Integrated Marketing, Category, and Insights and Analytics teams, proactively identifying and sharing opportunities and gaps in data, insights, and solutions. This role will support the KCP Marketing & CX objectives (Grow Share, Increase Category Breadth, Drive Brand Engagement, Increase Brand Loyalty, and Drive Consumer KCNA Brand) and be a catalyst for driving KCP end user and distributor engagement, value, and growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to company-wide business teams, leading the continuous creation of customer-focused solutions to drive the highest level of experience and engagement.

  • Aggregate data, research, and insights from various sources (ex. internal teams, external associations) to create usable insights. These insights will enable the Customer Marketing Team to develop a deep understanding of strategic vertical segments and key roles within these segments, including needs, pain points, motivations, and attitudes.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sr. Customer Marketing Managers and Distributor Marketing Managers to link vast data and insights to strategy and planning.

  • Provide feedback and identify gaps or opportunities to the Integrated Marketing, Category, and Insights & Analytics Teams when end user-insights, product claims, or performance needs are not met.

  • Develop a deep understanding of all KCP products to link end users' needs and problems, creating “solution” bundles rather than “product” bundles.

  • Offer subject matter expertise to Sales team and interact directly with select prioritized end users, purchasing organizations, service providers, and distributors.

  • Provide thought leadership and support Business Development through the creation and storytelling of the “Why KCP" value proposition.

  • Drive KCP Marketing & CX long-term and annual business planning thought leadership and direction by providing critical macro, industry, segment, and end user insights.

  • Manage strategic partnerships and performance with priority trade organizations/industry associations.

  • Provide marketing leadership and strategic direction to the Experiential Marketing Manager for Association and key account shows / events.

  • Consult with Canadian Marketing partners.
