Strategy and Offer Management Director (Finance)



Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Strategy and Offer Management Director in Franklin, TN.

Job Description: Conduct strategic market deep dive, identify new growth opportunities, customers' changing needs and detect potential disruption in the market. Define differentiating segment applications, architecture and value proposition with the support of Electra and teams of the CTO. Rethink the portfolio innovation roadmap to reflect the market change and create a clear competitive edge for Power Products in the market, in line with the defined strategic axes. Drive strong alignment with the Hub and Leagues Leaders on the innovation roadmap. Ensure maximum synergy cross-hubs and eliminate duplication. Support the PMO in the prioritization discussion with the Hubs and CTO to secure the right resource allocation to support the core growth and portfolio of the future. Anticipate future disruption through pilots or innovation squads, in close collaboration with the CTO and Innovation@Edge (and potentially the rest of the EM organization). Propose growth acceleration strategy through partnership or M&A and keep an active pipeline. Facilitate the discussions within the Division on all investments and alliances or partnerships, allowing the Division management team to take timely decisions. Reinforce our knowledge of the competitive landscape, including disruptive players. Drive regular portfolio simplification and optimization. Contribute to all preparation of strategy deep dive, board meeting, and other corporate strategy process. Eligible for 100% remote work, reporting to management in Franklin, TN office. 20% travel (15% domestic, 5% international) required to SE hubs in US, France, China, and India to collaborate and align with cross-functional global partners.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (7 years with Bachelor's or 5 years with Master's) in technical sourcing management, product management, or related occupation in the power distribution industry, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Product managing low and medium voltage circuit breakers using knowledge of low voltage protection, medium voltage protective relaying, power quality metering, and communication architectures; Defining technical and business requirements in a critical industry application such as data center or heavy industrial; Defining product strategy by interfacing with technical, and commercial functions inside and outside the organization (R&D, Engineering, Operations, Services, Sales, Procurement, and Contracts); Analyzing technical and business tradeoffs of Power Distribution equipment and technologies (High Voltage, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Automatic Transfer Switches, Power Back Up strategies) to define resiliency drivers; Negotiating complex terms with internal and external partners to ensure increased productivity, cost and technical differentiation, and speed to market; and Developing solutions for Data Centers, Heavy Industrial, OEMs, and Utilities.
