Cyber Security Engineer I (Finance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute product security process activities including threat modelling, security requirements definition, cyber test planning and execution, and cyber risk assessments.
  • Assist with the execution, automation and visualization of cyber security testing and with quantifying product residual cyber risk.
  • Follow Aerospace defined processes to verify correctness and completeness of required cyber certification documentation and cyber security test activities.
  • Help conduct continuous improvement activities that define, measure, visualize and improve key cyber security assurance metrics

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.As a Cyber Sec Archt/Engr I here at Honeywell, you will design and implement cybersecurity solutions, fortify defenses, and address technical challenges. You will report directly to our Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 1+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
  • Knowledge and basic skills about product security assessment, preferably aerospace products.
  • • Knowledge / Experience in the information security field

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field
  • Previous experience with testing embedded systems.
  • Information Security accreditation (CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent.)
  • Understanding of application protocols, development, and common attack vectors.
  • Good cybersecurity capabilities and strong software engineering skills
  • Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
