Membership Manager (Project Management)
As a Membership Manager, you willoversee our CRM system and membership data, ensuring accuracy, insights, and operational excellence that support smarter outreach and sustainable growth. From there, you will help expand our community through member-centric programs that align with the evolving needs of the high-tech automation sector.

Important Note: AHTD is a trade association in the industrial automation industry. Its Board of Directors contracts with MRA to manage all association operations. The AHTD Membership Manager is an employee of MRA, working exclusively on behalf of AHTD.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle of membership engagement, from onboarding to renewal
Manage day-to-day member support from account inquiries to platform access and resource navigation
Build and execute campaigns for recruitment, retention, and re-engagement
Collaborate with Marketing to produce compelling outreach content, ensuring it is current, accurate, and helpful
Foster personal, high-touch connections with members to build lasting relationships
Own administration and data integrity of the associations CRM/AMS (currently Naylor)
Run reports, track trends, and use analytics to drive member-focused strategies
Manage data migrations, system updates, and integrations with other platforms
Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Events to align membership with organizational goals
Bring forward insights, ideas, and recommendations rooted in data and member feedback
Support broader initiatives that improve member experience and operational efficiency
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
35 years of professional experience in membership management, client relations, or community engagement
Experience in a trade association or the industrial automation industry is a strong plus
Proven success managing CRM/AMS platforms and extracting actionable insights from data
Member-first mindset with a commitment to outstanding service
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
Data-informed decision-maker focused on continuous improvement
Self-motivated and collaborative, with a curious, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ AMS required; Naylor is a plus
Must be able to travel a minimum of two times annually for AHTD events (approximately one week per trip)
