Maintenance Tech IV, Part Time, 16 to 24 hrs a week, no call or weekends (Media)



Summary/Objective:
The Maintenance Tech IV is responsible from performing highly complex and diverse duties including but not limited too; installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, general service and maintenance of the facilities equipment and buildings. This position will also perform specialized duties based on licensure. Compliance with rules and regulations of all applicable federal, state and local laws, as well as PMHC policies, as a condition of employment.
Essential Functions:
Incumbent must have the skills, ability and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the facilities equipment and physical structure of the facility.
Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facility equipment during operating hours and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of facility equipment.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Coordinates bio-medical equipment program with responsible vendor.
Assists in planning, developing, and implementing new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Performs tasks using appropriate safety devices provided by the facility.
Responsible for rotation of departmental call duties.
Assists in snow removal and maintenance of grounds.
Performs other duties based on specialized licensure
Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, employees the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works with explosive, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The level of risk of exposure to blood borne pathogens is Classification (I), as outlined in the Hepatitis B Vaccine Program Policy.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:
Required Education/Certifications/Licenses:

Valid state issued driver's license
Degree from a Technical, Vocational of Higher Education Institution (License or Certification), or has received a journeyman or higher, electrical or other advanced trade license.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a maintenance environment

Preferred Experience

Minimum of 1 year in field of license
