Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (Finance)

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator executes all the technical and administrative duties required to prepare documentation for all shipments in compliance with company processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Control and direct the movement of packages from the preparation level to the delivery level.
  • Work in collaboration with other departmental managers to ensure a free-flowing process.
  • Contacts carriers for pick up scheduling and shipping information.
  • Maintains and adheres to work instructions for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling/disposition of finished goods and inventory accuracy.
  • Schedule deliveries with freight carriers.
  • Coordinate offloading of material.
  • Ensure proper sort and segregation of material.
  • Ensure material is processed in accordance with each customer's guidelines as well as RRD warehouse guidelines.
  • Ensure all required paperwork for material receipt is in order, present, and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance on exports.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal skills; ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization in a clear manner
  • Ability to navigate non-standard situations and apply policy accordingly
  • The ability to use AS400 system for Fed Ex, UPS Machine/Options entering correct account numbers

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data ("CTD") and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US
