We are looking for a diligent and collaborative Business Office Assistant to join our team. If you thrive on meeting deadlines and enjoy a multifaceted role that combines financial responsibilities with general office administration, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Billing and Collections: Manage billing processes for multiple insurance providers, including private pay, Medicare, and Medi-Cal.
  • Accounts Payable: Take ownership of the accounts payable process, from receiving invoices to processing payments on time.
  • Resident Accounts: Accurately manage residents' trust accounts and handle related transactions.
  • Deadline Management: Prioritize and manage a heavy workload with multiple deadlines, ensuring all medical application and billing documents are submitted punctually.
  • Office Administration: Support overall office function by providing assistance with scheduling, record-keeping, and visitor support.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with the business office manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in an office administrative role, preferably with accounts payable and billing experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
