Technician - Mechanical (Finance)
Job Description:
Here at Mars, our Mechanical Technicians play a very important role. On a day to day basis you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the complete structural integrity of all the plant facilities. Service, monitor, maintain, and repair all utilities including compressors, pumps, water softeners, valves, and plant piping systems. Install and service all plant equipment as required to ensure that the highest level of productivity and reliability is maintained on all company machinery. Associate must demonstrate a strong focus on Quality of Work, Safety, and Preventative Maintenance Program.
What are we looking for?
- Troubleshoot

- Associate must demonstrate a strong focus on Quality of Work, Safety, and Preventative Maintenance Program.
- High School Diploma
- 3 years feed manufacturing or equivalent
- Preferred: • Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience • Must be proficient in the use of: o Industrial mechanics tools o Industrial electricians tools o Industrial instrumentation and controls tools o Industrial rigging/millwork tools
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Parts inventory
- PM's and Sanitations
- Boilers (water sampling and chemical testing)
- Facility Maintenance
- Confined Space entry
- Working at Heights
- Minor Repairs
- Compliance with all Mars Safety Guidelines • Maintain facility and work areas to Mars standard.
