Construction Manager (Project Management)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Construction Manager is responsible for the practical management and planning of every stage of a construction project. They ensure building projects are completed safely, within budget, and on time. As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee schedules of work and delegate tasks to your team to ensure each phase of a build goes to plan.
Pay Scale: 85,000-105,000 (salary)

Qualifications:

5+ years of construction experience (telecom or wireless industry preferred)

Proven leadership experience managing crews and subcontractors

Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and project scheduling

Ability to read blueprints and construction documents

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license with clean driving record for daily driving, company truck will be issued to this position

OSHA 30 certification

First Aid/CPR

Proficiency in Procore, Site Tracker, or other construction management tools

CM responsible for plan of attack for construction crew. Create plan of attack or sign off on Foreman supplied plan of attack.

KEY PROCESSES OWNED BY POSITION

Coordinate and supervise construction projects from start to finish

Interpret and explain project plans and technical information to other project professionals

Lead project kickoffs and debriefs

Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and other construction specialists

Monitor project progress and report updates and budget matters to the PM

Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other jobsite issues

Ensure compliance with building codes and customer specifications

Coordinate project activities to meet deadlines

Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel

SCHEDULING

Schedule crews and manage related scheduling responsibilities

Select subcontractors/internal teams and coordinate their activities

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

Track and submit OJT (on-the-job training) signatures

Conduct field sign-offs

Manage and facilitate training days

Identify training needs, implement solutions, and evaluate effectiveness

Partner with HR to support employee engagement

Build relationships with field employees to support career path growth
