Title: Software Developer II

Location: 2301 Renaissance Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406

Be a part of the Emerging Technology department at Vertex focused on leveraging new technologies to benefit business needs. Conduct initial research and development using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, and block chain technologies; architect, design, code, unit test, and implement proof of concepts and pilots for specific business objectives; implement creativity to experiment with new technologies for business needs; review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents and provide feedback; and function as a full stack developer (front end and back end) for projects with minimal supervision or guidance.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust;
• Working with Machine Learning and Block Chain technologies;
• Working with Azure and AWS, Docker and Terraform;
• Using log monitoring software Datadog;
• Developing front end solutions with UI/UX experts using React and Vue.js software and Tailwind and Emotion styling technologies;
• Developing backend solutions leveraging Postgres, Gremlin and Azure Cosmos; and
• Working in and setting up a Git environment.
