Production Analyst (Finance)



Summary Coordinates and maintains the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing production efficiency and resource utilization. Collaborates closely with Master Scheduler and operations to develop strategies aligned with plant goals to meet customer and financial expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Align production schedules with customer delivery requirements and inventory policies. Identify and communicate resource constraints and inventory shortages to management. Resolve scheduling issues in collaboration with production and operations teams. Monitor scheduling tools and processes and recommend improvements. Monitor ERP/MRP scheduling parameters for consistency and accuracy. Monitor workflows and recommend process improvements. Track scheduling performance and recommend improvements to streamline processes. Support the planning department in ensuring a seamless release of work to the production floor. Execute stock and job analyses to evaluate and support the implementation of engineering changes. Ensure follow-through and completion of stock and job analyses to maintain consistent and accurate production outcomes. Uphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence. Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator. Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices. Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or CPIM Certification; or 3+ years' experience in production scheduling or planning in a manufacturing setting; or Equivalent combination of education and experience Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC certification program Physical Frequent use of computer systems; extended periods of sitting with repetitive motion of typing and using a mouse Occasional walking, standing, bending, stooping Clear vision and hearing required for screen work and communication. Working Conditions Work is primarily office based with rare exposure to dust, chemicals, temperature extremes, and above average noise levels. Competencies Knowledge Production scheduling and control. Monitoring and reporting tools. OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and AS9100 regulatory standards. Skills Clear and effective communication. Detail-oriented in analyzing data sets and process flows. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in ERP/MRP, MS Office, and planning and scheduling tools. Abilities Maintain focus and accuracy while managing shifting priorities. Apply logic and rules to scheduling conflicts. Recognize potential issues early and act decisively. Adjust quickly to changes in priorities. Understand and interpret verbal instructions.
