What you will do

Join us as an Investment Operations Specialist at PGIM Global Services (PGS) in the iRisk Data Integrity Group, where you'll dive into the dynamic world of financial data management! This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work with a vast array of financial data sourced from Prudential's accounting and trading systems, spanning both domestic and international markets.

In this pivotal position, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring data quality and supporting key projects that drive the success of iRisk. Your responsibilities will include overseeing data on diverse financial instruments and managing reporting requests along with ad hoc inquiries. You'll have the chance to collaborate with expert teams across the Chief Investment Office (CIO), PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions (PMA), and PGS, fostering connections with professionals at all levels.

We're looking for someone with a hands-on approach, who can leverage their investment knowledge, technical and analytical prowess, and interpersonal skills to make an impact. Based in our Newark, NJ or Tampa, FL office, this role follows a hybrid schedule, offering the perfect blend of in-office collaboration (3 days a week) and flexibility.

What you can expect

  • Identify, implement and perform key controls that support the data within iRisk, the Aladdin risk system and the PARIS performance system.
  • Provide daily client support for resolution of production issues. This includes analysis of the issue and working with the appropriate areas to resolve.
  • Support the PMA operating model across all asset classes.
  • Utilize various applications such as Investment Risk database (iRisk), MS Excel, Tableau, Cognos reports, etc., to facilitate ad-hoc analytical / information inquiries, streamline existing processes, define and build out new processes and perform project testing.
  • Partner with various clients and business partners to meet any new business requirements and collaborate with the Global Technology team to help support project work

What you will bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Information Systems preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in investment operations or accounting.
  • Knowledge and Skills:

o In-depth understanding of various investment security types.

o Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong PC skills.

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Strong organizational skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.

o Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work within a deadline-driven environment.

o Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Communication and Collaboration:

o Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

o Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Aladdin, Cognos and/or investment accounting reporting systems (i.e. PAM for Investments)

Note : Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $70,000 to $80,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
